Somewhat Obscure Recommendation: Atari Retro Classics for Nintendo DS
If any of you have a DS this is a pretty good game to get for that mobile Atari itch when you can't have a 2600 or TV game nearby. Most of the games are good emulations with added controls and optional graffiti mode (Think remixed artwork but intact gameplay, except for Tempest, which has a different stage order in graffiti mode.). The games consist of Gravatar, Pong, Centipede, Tempest, Missile Command, Lunar Lander, Asteroids, Sprint, Breakout, Warlords, and some other game that probably slipped by my memory. I haven't played multi-player, because none of my friends seem to have this, but Warlords is much more fun with humans, I'm sure of it. Here are some pics.Oh, and for you people who are major Nazis about correctness, the only noticeable flaw is that there's no stage select at the beginning of Tempest. See if you can find this on Amazon, Ebay, or just in the wild. I personally found this in the Meadowbrook Mall Target at Clarksburg/Bridgeport, West Virginia, along with a lot of other copies. Enjoy if you buy it!
