Hi there!
Well, it's the action game certainly, since the adventure never made it to the C64:
Of course, "Indiana Jones and the pixelated Speccy Graphics" would've been a much more appropriate title
You may have guessed it, the license game at hands is the typical Indiana Jones themed mini-game collection that lets the player experience 5 scenes inspired by the movie.
At the core they're all jump'n'runs. Starting with Young Indy, you're first exploring a cave, then make your way from one train wagon to another. Grown-up Indy then takes over, exploring another cave, escaping a zeppelin and finally making it all the way through the traps to the holy grail.
The graphics are cheap, with not much better audio. (The theme tune is certainly there.) The game is somewhat playable and, thank heavens, rather short:
Some future day the "Playing..." series may see another LucasArts game in the form of "Night Shift", but first it'll continue with something else.
Greetings,
Manuel
