Back from the dead
With the return of my site on my university webserver to a static format, I've decided to return to blogging here. Most of the stuff I want to write about is much to technical and nerdy for a personal weblog, anyway. I know you guys understand most of what I say.The interpreter system for the 7800 (the VCS may yet get it's chance) is on indefinite hold. I kinda lost interest in the project once Curt Vendel started talking about releasing the long-lost 7800 computer add-on, realizing that that accessory would make my project useless anyway. The language notes I've made here are totally free to anyone who wants to do anything with them. I don't care anymore what happens to them.My other homebrew game programming projects (both of them) are sitting idle as well. The VCS is really kicking my ass, and I don't really have the extra cycles to spare to work on it now, during school. Atari programming will be a summer learning project for me now. I simply don't have time to do it.Right now I'm working on a possible hardware project, working on a handheld video game console. I don't know if I'm actually going to get anywhere with it, but... the thread is still running in the Classic Gaming forum, shouldn't be too hard to find. That's all for now. Hope everyone out there in Atariland is having fun I am.
