Now at the 6th time the VCFe takes place in Munich.
The VCFe is for promoting preservation and care for historical computers and other data processing units, to wake interests on "redundantly" hard- and software and to have fun with it.
The VCF isn't only in the californian Silicon Valley a regularly event, it's also a fix point in the european calendars.
Let's go to the good old time, where hacker weren't security advisors, bytes weren't megabytes and "Kleine Grüne Männchen" were "Kleine Gruene Maennchen"
The VCFe has every year a main theme. This year it is: New live for old computers.
Caring platforms is not enough, for many old dead-said machines there come out a lot of new hardware. These developments and the daily use of classic hardware is this year the main theme.
