gdanko
Since the 1040 shares the same case with the Falcon, is it safe to assume they use the same screws? How about the 520? My Falcon needs new case screws and I have some spare STs.
gdanko
Luckily the 520/1040 screws DO work in a Falcon! I have an old parts mule 520ST that I was able to rob from to put my case together! I cannot believe the person I got this Falcon from didn't think to do that! Instead he used any screw that came remotely close. In the end he slightly cracked two of the posts inside the case. Thankfully everything fits together nicely now! I booted it up and it looks good! tjlazer
I cannot see why they would not. The falcon and 1040ST(E) have the exact same case.
gdanko
I cannot see why they would not. The falcon and 1040ST(E) have the exact same case. Yeah it ended up working pretty well. Aside from the two posts with slight cracks it is nearly mint. Edited January 25, 2007 by gdanko
