Atari Joystick vs. Wico Command Control

I passed one up today, I prefer the Atari joystick, over all other joysticks. It is a simple design and it works especially well with the limited directional motion that some atari games are designed to respond to.

If you've ever looked inside you will see that it's also easy to fix and while the internal parts do sometimes need fixing or replacing (ie, the contacts on the PCB board inside sometimes need to be resolderd or revamped, the plastic white joystick thing sometimes breaks inside or is worn out at the contact ponits on the PCB) however the actual joystick casing is made out of the strongest plastic in the universe.

That is all.

Interesting...

I like the Atari CX40 (Standard stick) for most games. But then some games...like Starmaster, Solaris...and some others...I prefer to use my wico for. I guess something about that button on the stick just makes it cooler for those games. I keep them both handy.
