+kheller2
I remember when I installed my USD that there were two versions, one for basically EPROM 1050s out of Singapore and one for Tandon ROM based boards. However, I don't see that same distinction with the Duplictor or Happy upgrades. Any reason why? I thought the difference was because of how the EPROM and the ROM were powered with different pins. ijor
Buffered enhancements (Happy, Duplicator, Speedy, etc), don't use the built-in ROM socket (the USD does). They plug-in in the CPU socket with its own board, and hence they don't depend on the ROM/EPROM pinout.
