The MindMaster
Years ago, as a flea market video game vulture, I came across a KC Munchkin prototype. Black and white label. Advance Copy in white letters at top of label, K.C. Munchkin, New Odyssey Cartridge (with expanded memory) black letters in middle, and Engineering Prototype Not For Resale, at bottom. It is a treasured possesion, and the best part is I got it for a buck!
Tempest
Neat. Wasn't NAP located somewhere in Ohio or that area of the country? That may be why you found one. I've never found a prototype in Michigan. Tempest
The MindMaster
North American Phillips had service centers in Los Angelos, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and yes, Cleveland. The Odyssey Products Services Operation was based in Jefferson City Tennessee, which is where extended warranty service contracts for newly purchased Odyssey2s was sent (19.95$). The MindMaster
The KC proto is a fully working version of the released KC. The quadrant maze, invisible mazes and the programming feature allowing you to create mazes are all in there.
