Chris++
I have, due to an unfortunate inheritance, acquired two hundred Star Ship cartridges (black labels with lettering only). In order to "contribute to the community," I've bought a package of Sharpies, and have colored over the S on the front and end labels. I hereby offer, to the lucky 200 hardcore collectors, this SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION of one of Atari's earliest titles! It's called: *** TAR SHIP *** I'm not even going to make everyone wait for the CGE. Just send me your cash! (NOTE: I've already made the .BIN file and cartridge photos available for Alex and Albert.) Thomas Jentzsch
Hey, that game is (well, almost) playable, so I won't buy that. :D Sorry, couldn't resist.
Lost Monkey
Hey, that game is (well, almost) playable, so I won't buy that. :D Sorry, couldn't resist. D'oh! You beat me to it... The first thing that popped into my simian brain was: "Well now that "tar ship" is finally available, maybe someone can actually finish it and make a real, playable game out of it..." Snider-man
Sorry Chris. If "Tar Ship" doesn't come in a retro-design box reminiscent of the old Atari releases - complete with instructions, mind you - it's not worth my $40.
Chris++
LOL....I understand completely....I'll have a small staff standing by with manuals, boxes and pairs of scissors. CF
Smitty
I found an Asteroid at a thrift store once. The "A" was blacked out. Maybe I should do a steroid game. Here's the game-play: Your name is Arnold....Try to smuggle steroids from Mexico and sell it at a local Bally Total Fitness. But watch out the federalitys and local off duty COPs are after you. WOW! check out that Chick on the Stair Master. Here they come run Arnold run... Smitty
Ze_ro
I guess no one else is going to say this, but I can't help but think that Star Ship is a better game than to waste 200 cartridges of it... I still don't have this one (strangely), but I actually had some fun playing it on an emulator. At the very least, donate them to Hozer or something. --Zero
Chris++
I didn't really inherit 200 Star Ship cartridges. I was making a funny. CF
moycon
I always kinda liked that game too... Not sure why... Maybe it's those funky Dr. Who sounding sound effects in the background.
