tebe
As I can see in the schematic diagram, there are added-up signals of memory-select RAM1 and RAM2 in MARIA chip (a kind of logic multiplying). Does anybody connect separately RAM1 and RAM2 memory ? If so, what he got as a result ? Is it caused by the fact that at the time of developing, computer memories were too slow and therefore they had to be selected alternately ? And perhaps later the faster memory was choosen, so now these signals are added-up ?

The /RAM1 signal is used to signal accesses to data within the first chip. The /RAM2 signal is used for accesses within the second.
