circus atari with joysticks

I have circus by zellers and for some strange reason it uses joysticks.

What is easier, joy or paddle?

I think this is a game that demands paddle control. The action is just too fast paced for the inherent sloppiness of a joystick. Of course, if you're REALLY good at Circus Atari, then joysticks might make things a bit more interesting.

I agree. This game is entirely too fast to play with a joystick... the only way it would even work would be if the joystick moved the paddle at a stupidly fast speed (They've gone plaid!)

Well, I've got 3000 points before with the joystick.

 

What's an average score with paddles?

That's like asking if Breakout or Kaboom would be easier with the joystick.

 

Of course the ORIGINAL (as in just like the arcade) way to play Circus is with the paddles. And imho, that's the only way to play it.

 

But I don't know if it's any easier or harder. I guess if you have the cart that uses joystick control as well as cart that uses the paddle, you could give us a verdict eh?

I don't have paddles or circus atari.
