I don't think Tripod allows "hotlinking" (linking directly to a file/image/etc. from the outside), so you might have trouble leaving it there. You might try uploading it to a different site. Also, you should never use BMP as an image format for the web. It leaves your image file size needlessly large and is considered a "non-compliant" image format as far as web standards are concerned.
