Scott Stilphen
Is it possible to dump the interal GameLine Master code and run it on an emu?
Eckhard Stolberg
The Gameline cartridge probably uses it's own bankswitching scheme. So unless you want to open your cartridge and unsolder the chip for having it dumped, it would probably take some experimentation and code changing in the cartridge reader to have the ROM dumped properly. The Gameline also has to use a special way of writing to it's RAM, so changes to the emulators would also be nessesary. Then it might be possible to have it display the Gameline title screen etc. Adding support to the emulator for the hardware accesses to the internal modem in the Gameline is probably not worth it. It would be nice to have a look at that code anyway though. Do you have a Gameline modem, that the ROM could be read from? slapdash
If the Gameline were emulatable, you could probably also add a way to drop in a new phone number, and could then actually use your Gameline, virtually. Or hack the BIN and use the Cuttle Cart???
