Rhindle The Red
You'd be amazed at how little Radio Shack employees know about what they sell. Check for one yourself. They should be right in where the modern units are. Alternatively, go to radioshack.com. The site is tough to navigate, so here's a link: Video/Game Built-In Signal Splitter Good luck. liquid_sky
Yeah radio shack employees are stupid.. the guy at ours was trying to sell me some 30 dollar switchbox.. if you cant find one anywhere ill se if ours still has any.. they keep them way back in the "boring section" in our radio shack (all the electronic parts)
Jun Kazama
ok thanks liquid sky i will go back and look around and let you know if i need one
eric_ruck
I've actually been using this switchbox, it works better than the slide switch kind, especially for the 7800's weak signal: A/B/C Pushbutton Switch Of course, you also need RCA (or F) to coax converter, which you can also get at RS. The website really does blow, I'd recommend finding it at the store rather than navigating the site. Eric
Lemmi
Say you have a TV with just the VHF/UHF screws on the back of it, is there an a/b/c switch like the one in Erics post for that type of TV?
Skatepunk60
Jun, If you still dont have a switchbox or radioshack dosnt carry them they are SOOO easy to make all you need is: -a double pole double throw switch (6 contacts on the bottom) -an extension av wire (w/ male & female ends cut in half and save male end) -and a UHF/VHF adaptor or "f" coaxial female adaptor -an old antenna wire W/ 2 hooks at end view from bottom of switch 12 here goes the female end of the av wire 34 here goes the antenna wire 56 and the UHF/VHF or coaxial adaptor (connector)
Joel D. Park
You may get away with just the Phono-To-F connector that Radio shack sells. They simply pug the Atari's RCA cable into the COAX cable hookup on the TV. The give you a sharp signal and only cost like 2.95. Good Luck.
