AtariJr
http://www.nintendo-play.com/News_article/..._Wii-id_189.htm It didnt make much sense at first, but actually with multiple players per system I like this way better. I think this would at least be a lot better than having a freind code per game like the DS.
Shannon
Yeah... It kinda makes sense. Even if friend codes are just plain Wii-tarted.

Hyper_Eye
I concur. Worst idea for hooking up with friends ever. XBox Live had this right from the very start. Nintendo has had quite a few years to notice.
Lord Helmet
IMHO Microsoft has gotten EVERYTHING right about the online portion of console gaming. XBox live is really slick. Demos, gamertags, XBLA, etc. Nintendo has a way to go IMHO. I have not experience with the PS3 online yet, so I can't comment on that. Shannon
PS3 online is similar to Xbox Live in that you have gamertags, you can add someone to your list, send mail etc. But they do not take it as far as the Xbox does. I would say more, but I don't really use Live so I am not familar with the other features. I usually stick to adding people to my friends list for gamer point comparison, etc. So the xbox is top dog. compacho
This "Mii codes" idea is confirmed as false. I read it on Gonintendo.
