SalemFrost7800
My joystick will sadly only remain a keychain. Ask Longhorn engineer if he will convert it into a working Joystick for you....than when the FB2 portable comes out you will have a mini Joystick to use with your mini Atari 2600 Edited July 6, 2007 by usinoh
Asaki
Before I shipped it out I made sure of its robustness by playing several rounds of Decathlon on it. Were you able to use the original circuit board? And did you figure out how to make the stick itself sturdier? Mine likes to pop out of the socket, and if you press it down, you can press all four directions at the same time.

It will still pop out of the socket sometimes but I found that for this to happen you would have to move the stick much farther then what is needed. SRGilbert
Can someone tell me WHERE in Walmart they stock these things? I looked in all the usual places, but found nothing.
Asaki
I saw them in WalMart a long time ago, they were hanging on the end of an aisle somewhere...somewhere near the toys. I'd keep a closer eye on bargain bins, though. $15 for a keychain is obscene. Hopefully you'll luck out like I did, and you'll find a return Apparently, the power switches are notorious for not working.
SRGilbert
Well, I found them at a different Walmart today. They were with some clearance toys, marked at $11.00 each. Not great, but they will be perfect......as Christmas tree ornaments!
Asaki
Just modded mine =) Didn't even need to make my own circuit board, I just cut a few traces to the central chip. I'm thinking about finding some sort of connector to stick in here, though, so I can unplug it and keep the keychain functionality. PS/2 connectors have six pins...hmm...
