+Psionic
Antarctic Adventure and Cabbage Patch Kids for ColecoVision exist in two ROM variants: http://home.comcast.net/~mycoleco/romc06.htm http://home.comcast.net/~mycoleco/romc01.htm The above pages show the released Coleco ROM variants on the left and the unreleased Konami "prototype" ROM variants on the right. So what's the problem? I never noticed it before, but my copy of Cabbage Patch Kids (standard issue, not a proto) has the Konami "prototype" ROM variant. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this on their cartridge? My Antarctic Adventure cart has the proper Coleco ROM version, but the Cabbage Patch Kids perplexes me. What's really odd is that the Cabbage Patch Kids game box appears to show screenshots from both versions of the game. Do cartridges exist in both versions? Bill Brasky
There's a version of CPK labeled 128k, for the ADAM. It has different graphics/backgrounds not in the cart versions but I don't know if it's really 128k. I don't see how it could be. CPK is really just a relabeled Athletic Land game from the MSX. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SA50Pf9wk4

ten-four
Hi... Like Athletic Land is there also a Penguin Land variant from MSX. is very close to Antartic Adventure. Is based on the same scenarie with more variation. Here is MSX version of Antartic Adventure. My own CPK version is ColecoVision OAA, Inc. Babyland Park. No Anna Lee name. My Antartic Adventure start up with Konami logo. But it has not the Copyrights around. Perhaps it was just the ADAM version that Bill Brasky was describing. Edited July 19, 2007 by PingvinBlueJeans

That's actually the sequel to Antarctic Adventure. Check out this version of CPK, Super Cabbage Patch Kids. This runs on the ADAMEM emulator. I haven't tried it on any other emulator.
