+poobah Posted July 19, 2007 Share Posted July 19, 2007 So I play (more than) a few games in A800WinPlus, but, as nice as optical mice are, they are not the tool of choice for Kaboom! So, I dig through the (many) boxes of "old computer stuff" and eventually locate my Atari 2600 paddles... Then, there's the little matter of getting the Kaboom executable on the XEGS... (also in one of the afore mentioned boxes!) I dig around through the parts bin, locate a max232 and solder up the ugliest SIO2PC ever crafted by man (pieces parts!). This was on an Atari 800XL with paddles and SIO2PC, playing with non-paddle controllers would be a definite handicap.
