New Zelda mini-game to come with the new Zapper

This sounds pretty cool to me, even if the game is shallow, which you know it will be. Simple fun a la Wii Play with a Zelda theme.

There is a really cool sequence you might remember from ocarina of Time, where Link rides Epona and takes out targets with his bow while riding to earn a heart container. It was a pretty good time and something similar here would be welcomed, especially considering I wasn't expecting the Zapper to come with anything at all.

Are you saying that the Wii-mote isn't accurate on screen? I don't know about yours but playing Metroid 3 has shown me that my Wii-mote is far more accurate than any other light gun I've used at home or at an arcade. Lighter too...

If that's the case, it should be fine then. I have yet to play MP3.

I had assumed that using the wiimote like a zapper would be something like using the slingshot in Zelda, where you had to aim crosshairs. On my 65' screen, it wasn't accurate enough to just "point and shoot" like the classic zapper on Duck Hunt for the NES. If it works that well, then we have a winner :)

I think he's talking about aim down the barrel, no onscreen crosshairs style. That would be freaking sweet, and i think it's what everyone gets all amped up about when they hear "Zapper", but i just don't think it's going to happen. It's just a shell, don't see why it'd change the functionality of the remote.

Exactly. A real light gun. Like the classic NES Zapper.

I wouldn't want to play it without crosshairs to show me where I'm pointing at. Probably why I never cared for Duck Hunt back in the NES era or Hogan's Alley...etc...

I also didn't have much trouble aiming with Zelda...but it was slow. Play MP3 on the ADVANCED control setting and you'll see just how responsive and accurate that remote can be?!
