The Eidolon
Do any of you know if there have been any other announced plug-in controllers for the Wii than the Nunchuck? I was reading about the spinner controller in the GBA slot of the DS for an Arkanoid game. I was wondering is there any reason they couldn't release a plug-in spinner controller that uses the nunchuck port? It would be pretty fun to play paddle games with a proper control scheme. The Wii remote could be a pretty cool customizable setup with the right add-ons. And they would all still be wireless since they plug in to the Wii remote rather than the console itself. PS: Just remembered the classic controller and the new "gun" controller. But as far as I can tell the latter doesn't really do anything except hold the two pieces together... liveinabin
Not much, though there is the Wii Balance Board that Nintendo announced at the same time as the gun/remote attachment thingy.
+-^CrossBow^-
Doesn't the classic controller plug into the Wii remote via the connector on the bottom? It's too bad Nintendo didn't make it something more universal like being a standard USB type plug. Might have made it easier for 3rd parties to use that function. Or be able to plug in a USB keyboard this way, instead or reaching behind the Wii to plug one in. Oh..and those Microphones from games like Boogie? Do they attach via the USB on the back, or do they attach to the Wii remote?
moycon
Do they attach via the USB on the back, or do they attach to the Wii remote? The microphone is "USB-powered"

MegaManFan
The Guitar Hero controller will plug in through the Wiimote, but it's pricey - $80 (for controller + game).

Technically, yes, but the Wii has two controller ports for the GC controllers, so these can be used on the Wii as wired. I'm looking forward to homebrew stuff for that crazy little port Nathan

And to point to the website it says "Use RetroPorts to plug original NES and SNES controllers into your Wii for Virtual Console games" Anyways RetroZone is trustworthy. I ordered a bunch of adaptors fom them back when they had USB adaptors for almost any console.....those days are gone now but I still trust their service.
