I'm thinking of buying this game. Does anyone have any opinions about it? I tried playing it on Handy, but it's so far away from actually playing on the Lynx I don't find it very faithful if the game on it is a platformer.

It's a pretty tough platform game. I found the setting, control, and graphics to be quite good for a Lynx platformer, but the high degree of difficulty stopped me playing it after a few hours. But that's nothing unusual for me... I rarely have the patience to do well at 1990's platform games.

Not my favourite Lynx game. It is, as sdamon states, quite tough, and its overall plot doesn't scream "fun". I've played my copy perhaps five or six times in as many years.

 

Your only real option for a quality Lynx platformer is the stellar Scrapyard Dog. It's much better than 7800 game of the same name, and one of the top ten titles for the system IMO.
