Gil Kane did a few Batman comics in the '40s but he was best known as the artist on Green Lantern. Bob Kane was the originator and best-known artist on Batman. StanJr Posted July 23, 2002 Share Posted July 23, 2002 True, I guess he sticks with me more as the Batman guy cause his was the first Batman I even encountered and therefore he stuck with me as the definitive Batman artist. That and I also dug his Spider-man stuff. While I never could get into GL. I probably should have said, "You may also know him from a little something he did called the "Death of Gwen Stacy."
