AtariKari
SPACEMASTER X-7 ROCKS Agreed! I just fired this up on the CC after reading this thread, and must say this is a sweet little piece! This is one of the more rare games (6?) that I'd put some time into. Recommended.
Ranthulfr
I think MOUNTAIN KING (CBS) is an underrated game. It's fun and challenging to play according to the manual, but then it has an elaborate easter egg to thicken the plot. Very weird, very unique 2600 game. Private Eye sounds like fun. Big Player
Randy, after visting your web site devoted to 2600 adventure games, you need to get Private Eye. It's a great 2600 adventure game with 4 different worlds to map. (Game 5 puts all 4 worlds together into one.)
StanJr
Actually Big Player, Case #5 is a WHOLE new map altogether. So really you have 5 different city maps to explore!
Big Player
That explains why I suck at level 5.
Big Player
Signs of sleep deprivation. Yes, from the manual for Case 5. All of the stolen goods and evidence in cases 1-4 must be found and returned for verification at their place of origin. Sure, objects and locations, easy to confuse. What I need right now. StanJr
The map for Case #5 is a weird amalgam of the first 4, but in itself is wholly different from the other 4. And it is EASILY the toughest of them all. Even tougher than Case#2.

ROBERT
Hello Big Wiger: You reminded me..."Room of Doom", by CommaVid, is also a favourite of mine. I primarily play games 1 thru 8 which represent the best combinations...fast/slow, doors open/closed, straight/angle fire. All the otehr options are not really much different, and the controlled fire is for wusses. I submitted some pretty high scores to Ron Corcoran on this title and would like to see how I stack up against fellow players, so those that are interested, please send your scores to Ron...this is a great game !! Especially for fans of "Berzerk". PS - did anyone figure out how to activate the continuation code ? I have the actual instruction booklet home and it indicates that a secret way exists to allow for continuation. I had always assumed you had to finish each of the 64 games but that's quite an effort and I haven't bothered. In most cases (games 1-, stage 14 is a killer !!
