So, I was at the record store, and there were two versions of Karn Evil 9, one split up into 4 tracks and one 29-minute track. Guess which one I got? This couldn't be false advertising because it said "5. Karn Evil 9" and after that was track 6, which begins the bonus track portion of the album. And not only is there a long song on this CD, there's also a long song title (I don't collect those.) Do you think "When the Apple Blossoms In the Windmills of Your Mind I'll Be Your Valentine" is a long enough title, or could they have made it longer? Well, anyway, if you're looking for Karn Evil 9 on one track, there is a version of Brain Salad Surgery with that out there. I admire bands that make long songs. I'm sure I've mentioned this before but I made a 20-minute-long song about a ham sandwich once. I'll post the lyrics sometime this week when I find them.
