RJ
Anyone notice what PS1 games load faster on PS2 using the "fast" speed? Diablo & DarkStone seem to load quicker for me...
Jetboot Jack
If you have the "fast loader" option set from the PS2's browser (its where you select the options for smoother PS1 grafix) then most games load faster sTeVE
Neoc56
You can set it to faster loading The Ps2 games have Better graphics which require longer loading
Jetboot Jack
Neoc56 - since both games being refered to are PS1 titles I was not refering to PS2 loading concepts.... However on that topic it is the data size that requires loading time - the PS2 has 16 times the memory of teh PS1 - however the PS2 uses a MUCH faster DVD drive which loads PS2 CD's faster it can load (in PS2 mode) the entire equivalent of the PS1's RAM in about 1/10th the time (on average)... In DVD mode it really hauls data off the disc and into RAM... sTeVE

AtariKen64
i noticed the settings too. but how can you save it to keep it set at fast/smooth instead of the defults? it seems everytime i go into that menu its always at the defaults, dont want to do it EVERY time for EVERY game how?
