Shaggy the Atarian
This is one impressive coin-op game. While there are similar games to this in malls, I have not seen any that have a system that compensates for shadows created by the players. It's more games like this that will help arcades continue their growth as well as interest in arcade games overall. It's also good to see some new games using feet as controllers doing something other than DDR. The graphics look pretty slick too. I keep wondering what the next "arcade saving" genre will be, but maybe stepping up the DDR type game for another round will manage it. Foxsolo2000
Looks expensive. I question if many malls could afford to get one in and run it
Shaggy the Atarian
It definently won't be cheap but few arcade games are these days. I think one key in arcades being able to grow is to bring prices down along with interesting games like this one. GlobalVR is doing that with America's Army and NASCAR - they just need to improve the graphics and come up with some more original content. Blazing Angels Arcade is their next one - I guess we'll see how that turns out. Trio-Tech, the makers of UFO Stomper generally don't spare anything on costs. The cheapest game of theirs I have seen cost $12k. I'm guessing that this will cost between $18k-$25k. At least it won't be coming to consoles anytime soon, which always kills sales for operators so they can break even on these super expensive titles.
