USB cartridge

Whatever became of the USB cartridge that AtariMax is selling? I mean, it's been around for a while and some old posts suggest that maybe some software was close, but I don't see anything as of recently. Is the project dead or still being worked on or???

Hi,

 

yes, I was busy with the SIO2USB Project.

 

I'll continue in January 2008 with the USB Cart.

 

Drivers that are on my to-do list:

 

* generic USB Thumb drive

* SVGA Adapter

* Printer

* new Keyboard driver

 

As I only can spare 1-2 days/month for atari development, progress will be slow. I have published tutorials on how to create USB drivers. Anyone to start development on USB Drivers is highly welcome.

WOW, you could get the Atari 8-bits to video out to a SVGA monitor through the USB cart? That would be fantastic!!!!!!

Thanks for the updates, I'm the glad the project isn't abandoned...and I understand that these things take time, I just wondered if anyone was still working on it! My interest is the VGA adaptor too, hopefully the code to make it work isn't too involved...
