Rybags
No idea. Lots of people are preoccupied with other stuff. I was looking to create a rudimentary 3D engine to see just what could be accomplished with, e.g. a 64x160 or thereabouts GTIA mode screen. But I've been lazy for a while so far as doing Atari stuff - as it stands, I've got a whole lot of graphics stuff that I haven't polished/unleashed yet. Something like this could also have huge potential if done in a mode like TIP or APAC - although it would probably be much better suited to something like an AR-like 360 degree roleplay type game rather than an action FPS. ZylonBane
Is this dead? Is WHAT dead? There was nothing here but a bunch of ideas being thrown around.
Shawn Jefferson
Someone should take the ideas and make a new AR module, like the Wilderness or the Arena.

peteym5
I am really preoccupied with other stuff, but still think something can be done with APAC mode with extended memory over 64k to make a game. Why not build some routines that can generate the 3D environment that can be used for either a first person shooter, 3D RPG, or an Adventure type game.
