+Larry
For emulator users: what kind of speed are you getting on Atari800win Plus? Granted, for games it doesn't matter, but on some computation-intensive applications, faster is better. -Larry
Goochman
I get values of between 2222% and 2700%
Rybags
It can vary a lot dependant on what screen size you're using, and some graphics and other settings. A quick try with version 4.2s, with threaded emulation enabled on my Core2Duo E6420 gives about 5500% (on smallest screen). With older versions without multi-threaded emulation and highest windowed resolution I'd normally get somewhere around 2800-3200% I believe it can also vary with what sort of graphics/sound is going on at the time, so something like a blank screen would probably reap the fastest result - plus the emulated machine would be getting less DMA steals. Goochman
How do I enable 'multi-threaded' emulation? I made the window smaller and got 4500% I have a QX6700 Quad Core machine
Rybags
Multi-threaded is under Misc-> Preferences. It's only become an option in the latest releases.
Goochman
Ah ok - I got 5800 in small window and between 3500 - 4500 in large window. I have 4.0 - I need to upgrade to 4.2 - Not that anything is useful at 5000% speed
Bryan
I can't find anything above v4.0 online.

pps
Never seen a higher version than 4.0, but there is an optiion for threraded emulation too. Goto: Misc - Preferences - Threaded Emulation
