Help! Save An Atari Collection - Fayetteville NC - SAVED!

Is there someone near Fayetteville NC that can save an Atari collection from going to the dump?? It is from a Craigslist ad and he wants $60.00 for the collection. Here is the items listed.

I have at least one 400, one 600XL, one 800XL, a couple of 1050 drives, one 810 drive, one of those 850 serial port expander boxes, several power supplies, some interconnect cables, whatever floppy disks and cartridges I have, and who knows what all. I haven't yet taken a proper inventory so there is probably more. Basically anything I can find Atari 8-bit computer related in my storage shed and closets is included. No delivery, must pick up in Fayetteville. MUST GO IN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS OR IT GOES IN THE TRASH!

Here is the link to the ad

Hopefully someone can get this stuff. He does not want to ship so it would be pick-up only.

If there is someone close enough to pick it up but doesn't necessarily want to buy the collection, maybe we can work out a deal so it can be shipped here.

I'd hate to see it end up in a landfill.

Well, I just called the guy and he still has it all plus he was telling me about some other items he has that I may get a hold of (Video Pinball, Stunt Cycle). He has agreed to take the stuff to a local shipping outlet just as long as he doesn't have to pack it. I am going to call to get pricing on packing it all up and shipping it and he will drop it off. I'll let you know how it goes.

I just talked to the seller and he found a home for the collection!!! Yippee!!! It is going to someone in Raleigh NC that used to run a large 8 node BBS in Maryland at one time. He said the buyer was very happy to get the collection. More Atari hardware saved from the landfill!!
