Broonale
I finally found one and love it, but..... Most of the games have severe graphics problems. In Asteroids you can either see the asteroids or your ship, but not both. In missile Command you can't see all the missiles. It's like a graphic layer is missing. Any ideas or do I take it back and begin the search again?
SRGilbert
You might have better luck if you ask this in the Flashback forum.

I can't remember what setting it was that somebody here told me to change. Although I think I was using a 2600 at the time, it might be relevant to the FB. Broonale
It's on my Vizio LCD TV.
Thomas Jentzsch
It's on my Vizio LCD TV. The objects you are mentioning are displayed using flicker. Maybe your TV has some kind of picture optimization which cause these effects. Try disabling that.
nathanallan
If you have an older non-lcd tv or even an old monitor that has the right plugs, try that. I agree with Thomas, it sounds like the refresh rate is different (the Hz of the screen, all techie stuff). Good luck on getting it working right. It's a blast. Broonale
Great ideas! I'll try that! Thanks!
Curt Vendel
That is generally an issue with some LCD and some DLP type TV's, I've seen this with older original game systems having this issue with timing and more modern screens as well. What kind of display are you using? Sometimes plugging it into a video in on a VCR or other TV accessory device and then using that device as a scan-converter and having it display out to the TV will many times give you a solution to the sync issue. Broonale
I tried running it through my VCR even as coax out with no luck. My Sony surround decoder has video switching so I'll try that next. Last I'll try it on a crt TV. My 47" Vizio LCD says it's displaying at 480i 60hz
Broonale
It works fine on a crt tv. My surround decoder switcher didn't fix it for LCD. I really want to play it on my bigger TV!
Broonale
I hope I didn't just waste $52! Based on searches here, I bought this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=007 I may also use it to build my dream TV out of an old wood console TV with a 22" widescreen LCD inside! BigO
If my experience is representative, I'm afraid you won't be happy with that device. Mine rendered the FB2 output horribly. I hope you have better luck. I only tried to use it as a TV with an older HP LCD flat panel, but that result was fuzzy and smeary. I've meant to try it with my Sony Trinitron monitor, but haven't gotten around to it. That box does appear to support 16:9 aspect ratio, though I'm not sure of the resolution. Broonale
I guess I can put it back on Ebay if it sucks! I've read mixed reviews on it.
