SPIKE
i was looking at The pocket programmer Eprom programmer tonight from Transtronics. is there a way to use one of these things (or something similar) to create your finished game on a Mac? i have all my 2600 programming tools on my Mac. this way i could start and finish all on one machine rather than keep another box around just for PC things. The only way possible is to find an EPROM programmer that completely works from a RS232 connection and doesn't require software running on the host computer. I've seen older PROM programmers that worked this way. They were designed to be operated from a dummy terminal of some sort. You will probably spend more time and money just trying to find one then you would investing in a used PC and programmer. Hell, just getting a 486 laptop would suffice with a good majority of the programmers out there. I know what you're going through. I was a Mac user before I invested in PC's. But to continue doing electronics stuff I had to go PC. The Mac is just not supported in this area.
