ApolloBoy Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 I decided to break out the old PSX for some testing, and the CD drive isn't spinning. Strangely, all the cables inside the system are connected and the thin ribbon cable connecting the drive to the motherboard is intact. I disassembled it two weeks ago to check on the solder joints of the mod chip and it hasn't worked since. Did the drive finally die or what?
