Robert M
I noticed today, that the timestamp shown for posts on the front page of the forums is one hour later than the time shown for the same post in the sub-forum where the post is located. No biggie. I just was wondering how they can end up different. Are the different forums in different timezones?
Albert
I am not seeing that, can you take screenshots for me? It's possible it's a cache-related issue (the forum does cache many pages so they don't have to be dynamically generated constantly). ..Al
+batari
FWIW, I've been noticing that too.
Albert
Is the time changing by an hour on the main index every time you refresh the page? (plus an hour, then minus an hour, rinse, repeat) Looks like some other forum admins are seeing an issue with this latest forum update (which I did a few days ago here). ..Al

I didn't say anything because I thought it might be on my end until this topic came up.

Sounds like Invision updated some Javascript with the newest version of the software, and it's possible you are using a cached version of the script. There's already a bug report about this on Invision's site and any additional information I can add will help. Thanks, ..Al

It's happening in Safari and Firefox on multiple platforms.
Albert
I just cleared the cache and it still does it. It's happening in Safari and Firefox on multiple platforms. Do you have Javascript enabled in your browsers? Do you have Auto Correct DST enabled in the Board Settings page in My Controls? Can you try toggling this setting and seeing if that makes a difference? http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?a...rCP&CODE=04 I experimented toggling this on and off in both Firefox and Safari and the time always consistently displays properly for me on the main index. ..Al

When I turn it back on the problem is still fixed. So maybe when the forum software was upgraded this setting was corrupted.

So maybe when the forum software was upgraded this setting was corrupted. That's really strange. Looks like it may only have been affecting people who had the Auto-correct DST feature enabled? I did not have it enabled initially and did not see the problem. I do have it enabled now, though. I'll have to keep my eyes on the bug about this issue over on Invision's site and see what happens. My guess is they will probably issue a fix for it at some point. ..Al
