b*nq hi-scores

Hey... how do I keep the hi-scores on the cart when I shut the 7800 off? I thought I read somewhere that this cart saved the hi-scores. Do I need to do something special? Do I need additional hardware? Did I imagine it had that capability?

 

Any help appreciated! Love the game - awesome job Ken!!!

You need either an AtariVox or a SaveKey. The cartridge itself does not have any onboard memory to save your scores. There should be a yellow piece of paper in the b*nQ manual that explains this in more detail.

Cuttle Cart 2 should do the trick too. (Oh, but you want it with an actual cart. Nevermind.)

 

Wouldn't it work with a High Score Cart too?

Yes it does also also work with the CC2 or High Score cart too, but then you get the boring "high score cart" type display and entry screens.

With a saveKey or AtariVox you get the more qbertish high score entry and display screen.
