Anyone have a fancy menu structure for the CC2 they wanna share?

I finally upgraded my boot rom which supports nested menus and wanna create something separating 2600 games from 7800 games, homebrews, games by company, games by genre (sports, racing, arcade, proto...),paddle games, keypad games etc into separate sub menus.

But why reinvent the wheel if someone has already done it.

Anyone?

I created my menu generator but it does only name, controller, company sub-menus. AtariAge does not have genre in their awesome database, otherwise it would be easy to put in.

7800: BonQ (qbert) BONQ 7800_32K 78BIOS eb3c39e8 WIP - -

7800: Centipede (Trackball hack) TB CENTTB78 HSC_16K HSC 0e416a41 Hack TB

7800: Centipede (PAL) CENT78P 7800_16K 78BIOS 3bb1b748 Atari 0 -

I have all the roms listed in a CC2ROMDB.TXT file with name, rom name, bank switch, startup, CRC, company, rarity, controller.

If you want to put the genre on the 1612 entries, I will do the rest! :)

http://www.hammr.us/cc2FAQ.html It has no PAL entries in it but should have everything else.
*.A78 roms will not work with the CC2. All ROMS must be in the *.BIN

Simply renaming your *.A78 files to *.BIN will not work

Can you add:?

...will not work you would need to remove the A78 header information and that is the first 128 bytes.

Am I just missing something with this? I but all the files on a card and tried it. It sees the first menu, 7800, A, B,C, etc. but when I select any of them I get a 'can't find 7800.BIN' or 'can't find A.BIN'?

I think you didn't update your CC2 OS!

Updated version of menu mode that now allows multiple menus!

Get the Menu Mode 2.01/Dev Mode 2.00

Yeah, you have to put the updated bootrom in the root of the MMC card and do Update Bios or whatever it is from the Utilities menu.

I had the exact same problem at first.

There's a some help on that site. Piece of cake.

I do remember doing it but who knows. It can't hurt to do it again.
