Yesterday at the Portland Comic Book show I bought some original artwork from the book "The Complete Guide To Conquering Video Games" and "Videogaming Illustrated" magazine. I'm keeping the Astrocade and Intellivision pieces but some of the Atari 2600 and Odyssey 2 pieces may be for sale/trade. Here's some pics:

Very cool! Wow, I don't remember the last time I saw rubylith.

From time to time great artwork finds turn up like this one. I'd love to see a place on AtariAge or someplace else where all these images are brought together into a gallery of some sort.

These are super-neat. I love how the KC Munchkin one has a crossed out "Pac-Man" on it. Too funny.

Yeah, that's why I bought that one, I thought it was pretty funny too! The artwork's kinda gross for that one. I wonder what he was thinking.

If you want to see more issues of Videogaming & Computergaming Illustrated, look no further than my picasa album:

Thanks for the links. I used to have a bunch of those issues. It was a great magazine! I read through them so many times though that they got real ratty and I tossed them about 10 years ago. The reviews were always fun to read. I think of the reviewers was "JC" and the other "ECM." ECM was usually really harsh!

To the OP:

I know most of that artwork was used in VCI on a few ocassions. The maze craze artwork was used in one of the issues, but i can't remember which one right now.
