RJ
I'm a huge Silent Hill fan but I just read if you reach the final boss (PS1 game) w/ no ammo, it simply explodes & you're done! Is it true? What ending, if any, do you get?
Bez
Sounds too easy to be true, altough I did not reach that far. You´ve got that ask liveinabin on this one!
liveinabin
really? because of my silent hill label for the competition perhaps? haha - anyway - lucky guess - I know Silent hill fairly well. Right, are we talking about the girl boss (bad+, bad ending) or the winged demon boss (good+, good ending)? Either way, I've found that - in order, perhaps, to keep the tension in the boss battle, Silent Hills 'boss ammo' requirement seems to be 'everything you've got' - I killed the boss on my last round. With this thought, it's not inconceivable that if you have ABSOLUTELY no weaponry, then that's how much it takes to win - i.e. none at all
RJ
Uh...that's a somewhat confusing answer...if you had NO AMMO & you get to the final boss (doesn't matter which), what actually happens? I read the boss supposedly explodes & you're done. IS IT TRUE?
tiggerthehun
Liveinabin - for what it's worth, I thought your answer made sense! RJ - what he's saying is that if you have 100 rounds left - that's what'll take to kill the boss. If you've got 10 rounds - it'll take ten rounds... If you've got 2 - you'll hurt 'em with the first - finish 'em with the 2nd So, yes, using that logic - if you've got no rounds - he'll just blow up... I guess... Take a look at www.gamefaqs.com and click on the ps1 section - then go to the "S" section, and see what they have to say. They usually have some very good faqs written by folks who are REALLY into EVERY detail of a game - so I'm guessing it'll be covered there... Good luck! RJ
Well, that's where I saw the info which prompted my question in the FIRST place... OK, I'll ask this- has anyone ever experienced/witnessed this firsthand? Can you verify this?
