LoTonah
I was just reading thru an old Amiga magazine (dated 1986) that alluded to the idea that Tramiel was still in charge of Commodore's advertising (at least in Canada), even though he was already running Atari. Anyone have any insight into that? I would assume that he still owned some Commodore stock, even after he had left.
RetroCraze
This would be highly unlikely. Atari And Commodore became bitter rivals over Amiga issues. In all actuality, Tramiel was not an advertising guy at all. In fact, Atari may still be in business today if they actually spent some of the money they had on ads. Though, Commodore had a very strange corp structure. But, I believe Commodore Canada was not part of Commodore International.

Yes Commodore was a weird company, when they went out of business, somehow the Commodore UK branch kept going for a while longer and even made a bid to buy out the rest of the company...
