Agent X
This is not a joke. As Kurt Angle would say, "Oh, it's true! It's damn true!" Here, take a look for yourself. http://cube.ign.com/articles/367/367914p1.html I first read about this in--of all places--the rec.games.video.sony newsgroup. I later saw it mentioned on rec.games.video.sega, but I haven't seen any talk about it in rec.games.video.nintendo or rec.games.video.atari. It would be nice to see the game released on PlayStation 2, since that's what I've got now. But I intend to get a GameCube in a few months anyway (just waiting for the platinum-colored machines to come out in November); hopefully I'll have it in time for this game's release. Anyone else here excited about this? Having a new scrolling shooter game for modern hardware released under the revered Atari name surely has to put smiles on some faces around here. +Sauron
I take it "Atari" now has the publishing rights for Treasure's games in the US now?

I'm not familiar with this game, but I am a big fan of shooters and I have a GameCube, so I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for this one. The article you linked to talks favorably about the arcade game, so it sounds very promising. Thanks for the heads up! ..Al
