strange versions of stargate and of crossbow. What r they?

I wonder if anybody can help me

I have a boxed Crossbow with manual (red label-Atari 2600)

But it was evidently made for a european market, since the back of the box has various languages (french, german, etc)

the game´s code is - cx26139p (that is the code on the game).

It doesn´t even work that well most of the time.

The date on it is 1987, and its original ("printed in Hong-Kong/made in China." "1987, Atari Corp, Sunnyvale, CA 94086. All rights reserved").

However, the manual is in English with a diferent date on it(1988) and appears to be for American consumption (and whereas the box only says that it can be played on the atari 2600, the manual says for the 2600 and the 7800). Could anyone :?: solve this mystery, especially since this copy of the game does not figure on this site.

AlsoI´ve got another strange cart. I have a defenderII (red label)

in a stargate box!!

The box is not the same as the scan on this site, but almost the same. Mine says 1987

and also printed in Hong Kong/Made in China.

Also it says Model CX 26120

and not simply 26120 as it does on the box scan on this site.

The cart itself. It says 1987, which is a diferent date than the one on your page and has a black square sticker on the back with a white letter "P" in the middle of it.

What could this mean?

Is this game a prototype, and if so, does it make it rare? Is this also the case of my copy of crossbow?

I am trully perplexed.

Thanx.
