Vic George 2K3
So far I've tried to run several different emulators on the slim PSP and none of them work. It's using System Software Version 3.80. I'm not sure about trying to downgrade it without "bricking" the system, but I really don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Buzbard
Are you using the Official firmware from Sony or the Custom firmware from Dark-Alex?

Buzbard
Here's a tutorial, with download links, that explains how to install the Custom firmware yourself: http://forums.noobz.eu/index.php?PHPSESSID...27.html#msg7727 Although it might be easier and cheaper to find someone in your area that can do it for you. Mark Wolfe
Got as far as step 10, then the screen said "the game could not be started". I would back up and double check everything you're doing. You definitely will need custom firmware installed and believe me, that the latest innovations have made life really easy, but first you have to get it all set up. this website has the best guides and all the software and links you'll need: http://www.psp-hacks.com/ the best thing to do is read as much as you can and learn the ins and outs before trying to go ahead and install the custom fw.
