I recently picked up a copy of Crest of Wolf for the PC Engine which was released in the US as Riot Zone and was in the arcade as Riot City.

 

This game has a very bad reputation as being "bad" and/or "crap" so seeing as i do rather enjoy bad or crappy games at times i had to buy it.

 

Crest of Wolf is a side scrolling "beat'em up" ala Capcom's Final Fight which is another favorite of mine which i played many times on the SNES.

 

I like Crest of Wolf despite it having washed out colors and recycled enemies and the one major no-no that i game like this(and SNES Final Fight)had no two player mode.

 

It does however have some pretty good music being its a CD game and it does have that nice arcade feel a game like this should have too(which it should seeing it is a arcade port).
