Tom_Explodes
Anybody have a list of all the coop games for the 7800? By which I mean, non-competetive (or at least not only, games like Joust where it's optional are okay) and not games where 2 players switch off each turn? Bakasama
The only games I can think of are Xenophobe and Dark Chambers.

Math You
Asteroids has a 2 player mode, not sure if you'd call it cooperative though. Does Joust have a 2 player option?
Mingy Jongo
Asteroids has a 2 player mode, not sure if you'd call it cooperative though. Does Joust have a 2 player option? There are three multiplayer modes in Asteroids, one is alternating, one is competitive (you can kill the other player and each have three lives and separate scoring), and one is team play (you can't harm the other player, you share a pool of six lives, and your scores are combined). The team play mode is about as cooperative as you can get. Joust has a two-player option, but it is more competitive than cooperative. Tom_Explodes
Thanks for all the replies, folks! I'm keeping a list of which games are coop so I know what to get once I actually buy myself a 7800. I love coop play.
+Allan
You can add Space Invaders to the list now. Allan
+Random Terrain
And remember, if the power goes off, you can still play cooperative games: http://www.familypastimes.com/together.html http://www.childandnature.com/
littleman jack
Great replies. I think Centipede and Asteroids in cooperative mode are two of the most fun games out there. And Inky's suggestion of playing Robotron with two players (one moving and one firing) is a lot of fun as well.
