Well, we actually had a BBQ after all. And afterwards, we watched some fireworks. Here in Oregon, the good kind are illegal for some reason, so we have to settle for the stupid little ones. When we got home, we looked at the big ones on the skyline. That was the last year we were able to do that, that is, if we ever get moved. Right now, Mom is at Grandpa's condo going through his old stuff. She wants me to go through my stuff to see if I can throw anything away. She should know better than that, because i'm the packrat type. Anyway, I got another long song. This time it's "The Tain" by the Decemberists. It was $10, because it was a single. The packaging is a little misleading because it says "Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV, Part V", but I was happy that it was one track of 18:35. I'll look for some others on my list, including "Curtain Call" by the Damned, when I go get Beck's new album Tuesday morning.
