Portland Retro Gaming Expo August 2-3

I had a fantastic time at the show on Saturday! It was the best show I've attended since CGE last summer and the biggest reason for this is the people. I've said it before, but the folks at NWCGE are some of the coolest cats you'll ever meet in this hobby. Thanks for organizing such a rockin' show guys!

 

@Josh, thanks for the killer PC games deal. I've summed the cover prices you were asking and you let me get away with that box for a fraction of that. Thanks man, this has filled several holes in my collection!

 

@Rick, thanks for posting the link to my pictures. I think I have a few more from my phone that I'll post up there soon.

I was soooooooo happy that those PC games found a great home. That Dam Busters is likely a very very scare game so cherish that one... I do a lot of vintage PC thrifting and I have NEVER seen it. It was either give you a great deal or maybe sell one or two the whole show. Enjoy and hope to see ya next year.

My 17 year old son and his 2 friends attended and they had a great time. His girlfriend got some sort of huge Zelda Sword so she was happy and he found a few good bargains on various games. One nice thing about this event was it was held in a nice safe environment where we felt safe leaving them for a few hours. Kudos to the folks involved in holding this event.

glad they had a good time! i wish i took a picture of the huge Zelda Sword, very neat item, we're already planning for next years show. next years will be bigger and better!
