Darran@Retro Gamer
So I've just got hold of an Atari Lynx with Robotron: 2084 Hard Drivin California Games Robosquash Xenomorph Checkered Flag Super Skweek Rampage Ninja Gaiden and Steel Talons What classics am I missing? +FujiSkunk
If you like late '80s arcade translations, then you must pick up RoadBlasters and STUN Runner. The Lynx ports are among the best available, even when compared to console or computer ports. There are others like Paperboy, Hydra and Rampart, but they aren't as memorable (Paperboy is actually something of a disappointment, after seeing the scrolling tricks the Lynx is capable of, thanks to California Games). For more classic arcade action, Joust and Ms. Pac-Man are also available. For a good puzzler, I recommend Shanghai. Jess Ragan
I'd play my Lynx a lot more if the display were cleaner. It's so washed out! I wish there were some way to replace it with a modern display... I imagine that the games would not only be more playable, but the system wouldn't chew through so many batteries. +DamonicFury
Besides Skunkworx' excellent recommendations, I would add: Arcade Games: APB Rygar Rampart Puzzle Games: Chip's Challenge Klax Crystal Mines
Atari5200
Shadow of the Beast Todd's Adventure in Slime World Power Factor another vote for Roadblasters

games-video
Lemmings is one the the best conversions, try to get a hold of it, as it's getting more rare and even more expensive in the near future (see other thread). Fat Bobby is a good platform title, I liked it.
Blany
Lemmings was outstanding but so was Steel Talons for the time.

So i'm now up to 20 titles, which is pretty good going I think

+davidcalgary29
In the hope that the OP comes back to this thread, I'm going to throw in another shout out for Loopz. It's just outstanding, and such a shame that it was never released by Atari in '92.

+Sauron
Pitfighter is by no means a great game, but it is enjoyable if you take it for what it is: a button-mashing fighter with decent graphics for the Lynx.
