homerwannabee
Am I missing something here? This is a NTSC Asterix. This is super freaking rare. Yes I know the label looks like garbage, and yes I know it is from Mexico. But how on earth does this game go for $6.68 plus $10 shipping and handling? Am I missing something here? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...y0%3D%26fvi%3D1 Edited July 31, 2008 by homerwannabee

holygrailvideogames.com
Seller is in Mexico. Zero feedback as a seller. The label looks horrible. No guarantee that it is NTSC.
Elw00d
I would have dropped $20 total on that. I could get a better cart later.
Captain Beard
I saw that auction and was sure I'd seen that photo before, although I couldn't locate it. Add that to the low feedback and I wasn't willing to take the chance.
Canadian Paul
I hate drudging up old threads, but did this one ever get figured out? I only ask because another one from a more reputable seller has come up. No end label = almost certainly PAL, but someone else might want a chance on it. RickHarrisMaine
do like the Space:1999 clip art thing he has on his auction page though..... that alone might make me put a bid down there.....

Probably about double its value if it turns out to be PAL, so not an epic loss given the potential payout. Anyone here win it? If a end label-less PAL Asterix shows up on ebay in about a month, I guess we'll know...
ianoid
Er, was Asterix NTSC really confirmed to have been sold in any quantity? AFAIK it's harder than Quadrun. Am I missing something? Did anyone ever find out if this Mexico Asterix cart was for reals?

Didn't Rick Wies buy a CIB one from Mexico? He might be able to confirm
