Where the hell are all my cribs at????

 

Everytime I beat a mission, it tells me I gained that neighborhood and am making a set amount of money per day. Where the fuck is the money at???? The only crib I have is the one I started out at and it has a set limit of $2000. I read that when you beat a Story mission, you unlock a crib and the cribs are where the money is at. But every mission I beat, I don't get any cribs.....but I need that money because I'm always low on cash....constantly. So am I missing something here? Do I have to beat an entire gang's storyline to get another crib that generates money????
