There is only 100 limited edition copies of that game. There is only 1 retail copy of Gamma Attack known to exist in collector hands and it was found and re-released on carts earlier this year by a fellow AtariAge user who uses the handle "Phantom". The 100 limited carts that got released are worth $50 bucks a pop sure, but the original is more like $5,000 and I doubt you could pry it out of the owners hands with a crowbar even if you had $5k to spend on a game..lol...

I think 5k is a bit of a stretch :ponder:

Might as well be $5 million cause I know he ain't sellin' is the point, but ya $5k could be a little extreme your right. Still worth multiple thousands, $5k was a number I just just pulled out of my ass for conversation sake

Did anyone ever ask that guy that made GA how many he sold? Seems to me there must be more out there...

IIRC I think the guy that made it passed away. THe crazy magic site that popped up after ant found it was supposedly started by one of his children. I offered to go pay them a visit for verifications sake as they live about an hour from me but got no response. So AFAIK it was never actually verifed if that was truly one of his kids or not. :?:
